Terms of Service
Last updated: November 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Dev Alchemist Labs, LLC (“we”, “us”) for using AP Guardian. We have kept them short and plain. By using AP Guardian you agree to them. If you use it for a company, you agree on behalf of that company.
1. The service
AP Guardian scans Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central data for invoices and payments that may have been paid twice, and for duplicates that are about to be paid. The free scan is free. There is no card, no trial that turns into a charge, and no obligation to buy anything. If we offer paid services later, they will have their own clear terms and prices, and you will only pay if you choose them.
2. Your authority
Only connect or upload data you are allowed to use. By connecting a Business Central company, you confirm that you have the right to give AP Guardian read access to it, under your organization’s own rules. Your Microsoft account’s existing permissions decide what AP Guardian can read; it can never see more than you can.
3. What the findings are, and are not
Every finding shows the records behind it so you can check it yourself. Findings are leads to verify, not conclusions:
- “High confidence” means the records strongly match. It does not prove a duplicate payment happened.
- “Possible” items are never counted in the totals and need a closer look.
- Before you ask a vendor for money back, stop a payment or change your books, check the records in Business Central and with the vendor.
AP Guardian is not accounting, audit, tax or legal advice, and it does not replace your own controls or your auditor’s work. A clean result means we found no duplicates we are confident about; it does not guarantee that none exist.
4. Your data
Your data stays yours. We use it only to run the scan you ask for, and we keep none of it afterwards, as described in our Privacy Policy at https://apguardian.devalchemistlabs.com/privacy. Reports you download are yours to use and share as you wish.
5. Fair use
Please do not:
- try to get into data or accounts that are not yours;
- interfere with, overload or attack the service, or get around its limits;
- copy, resell or rebuild AP Guardian, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows;
- use it for anything unlawful.
We may limit or stop access that breaks these rules or puts the service or other customers at risk.
6. Our software
We own AP Guardian, its software and its design. Using it gives you the right to use it under these terms, not ownership of it.
7. The service as it is
We work hard to keep AP Guardian accurate and available, but we provide the free scan “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including that it will be error free or always available.
8. Limits of responsibility
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, or for decisions you make based on a finding without checking it;
- for the free scan, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud.
9. Ending use
You can stop using AP Guardian at any time: choose Disconnect, and remove its access in your Microsoft Entra admin center if you wish. We may stop offering the free scan, with notice on the site where reasonable.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. Changes never apply to a scan you have already run.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. If a dispute comes up, please email us first; most things can be settled with a conversation.
